Leveraging SYSMAN schema objects outside OEM

OEM gathers lots of really useful data and stores it in the SYSMAN schema.
I'd like to integrate sysman.mgmt_targets with data from other sources with minimal changes to the sysman schema (of course).

Using my DBA101 skills I've granted SELECT on sysman.mgmt_targets view and its underlying source table sysman.em_manageable_entities to OtherGuy.

When I log into the repository as OtherGuy I can see the mgmt_targets view but no data.  

What have I missed?
