How can the G/L date be changed in journal entry revisions?

Q - When the G/L date is changed on an existing transaction in journal entry revisions (P0901Z1), with a C in the action code, the screen clears after the enter key is pressed, however the G/L date has not been changed upon re-inquiry.  How can the date be changed?
