Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Changing Natural account to different segment in an exisitng Chart of Account

Hi all,

In Oracle R12, we have created a chart of account with one of the segments [say, X] as natural account.

We have created a Ledger using this chart of account and have completed AR, Projects and OM setups.

However no journal entries are made to this ledger.

Now requirement is to make some other segment[say, Y] as natural account for that chart of account.

If anybody has faced similar issue, please let us know.

Also, please let us know if there will be any impact if we go ahead with assigning natural account to other segment.
