NFS Check failing on EM 12c install on AIX 7.1

Have tried to install using an NFS mounted disk for the software but installing onto non NFS mounted disk. Plus have also tried on non NFS  mounted disk for the software. This is doing a gui install.  I get to the screen where I hit the 'Install' button and the install ends. It displays  the error -
 NFS Mounted Check exit value = 1
ERROR: A system call received a parameter that is not valid.

I cannot seem to find out what system call it refers to but am assuming it is the NFS check. Is there some file this is kept in or variable I am not resetting each time I try to redo the install? I delete the ora inventory llogs,files and the files installed under the Middleware home and in tmp.
