High number of DBSNMP sessions in one of our production database

   About 260 DBSNMP sessions connecting to the prod db,  running  package dbms_application_info.  That has caused overhead on the production database (max processes reached).  We had to shutdown the agent and manually killed the sessions.  Before I open a SR with Oracle support, I just want to check anyone had a similar issue.

We are running OMS grid control version 12c and Oracle database version 11.2.0.2.
