Configuring Query Banding in BI Publisher

 Is it possible to configure query banding against a Teradata JDBC connection in BI Publisher 11g? We set this up in OBIEE via a pre-query sql statement in the connection pool, but am unsuccessful so far with it in BI Publisher.
If it's possible, how do you do it?
