Single Vs Multi Institution

Hi All
What are the scenarios for setting up multi institution & can anybody explain the table setID with a real example?
Wish to get the recommendations for below scenario :

We have two campus & the operation of both the campus is different + the financial accounts for billing the students is also maintained seperately.

So in this case how about setting Institution whether it should be a single or multiple institution?

Please suggest.
