Data Export from Siebel to Excel

We are in the process of upgrading from Siebel 6.0 to Siebel 8.1. In Siebel 6.0 File--> Export has the option to select the Columns from the Columns Displayed applet but is missing in 8.1. We really need that functionality. Is it a way we can configure that in 8.1?
