Sales Order Automation Rules

The document  JDE 9.1 Net Change from 8.12 lists an enhancement called Sales Order Automation Rules.  I can't seem to find any documentation about how to set this up or how it actually works. It relates to automating when Electronic transactions are created in the sales cycle.

Has anyone taken advantage of this feature?
