Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. can we change the retained earnings account in accounting setup manager

Hi,

we have uploaded the wrong value set sequence in GL and completed the ledger setup by mapping the retained earnings account.

Now we would like to give the end date for the existing value sets for accounts and code combinations also.

we are using 12.1.3 version and please note that there no entries are entered in GL.

In this case, could you please advice which is the best way to proceed.

1) Do we need to change the retained earnings account since there are no accounting entries passed ?

2) Giving the end date for the existing ledger and need to define new ledger
