unable to return partially cancelled PO shipment

 Dear Friends,
When we a query a PO in Find Returns form, we get the message "No records meet your search criteria".

Also, the PO shipment is partially cancelled and the cancel_flag is updated to 'Y'.

As per the metalink note RCVTXERE / RCVTXECO: APP-PO-14094: No Records Meet Your Search Criteria [ID 1101403.1], no receiving transactions are allowed against partially cancelled line/shipments.

But our business users insist that they wish to do Return TO Vendor (RTV) against the PO.

Could any one please let me know if we have any workaround for this issue?
