Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Current Period Field & Book Controls Setup

Hi,

I am setting a book using the Book Controls window and I need to complete the Current Period field.

What is the impact on selecting a period for this field? Shall I select for this field the first period for which I want to define a new asset?

How this is handled in new Oracle Implementations?

Any advice is highly appreciated.
