Sales Processes - having 2 processes with common Sales Stage values?

Hi All -

We currently use one standard sales process that has defined stages, let's call them: A, C, D, closed/won, closed/lost.

Due to business process, we have a certain group of users who we need to have stages: A, B, C, D, closed/won, closed/lost. they should have all of the ones from the original process, but 1 additional stage to use.

I have been able to set up a new sales process and assign it to the role for this user group; however, the problem is that multiple users will update the same opportunity. Some of them will have the original sales process, and others the new sales process, and the system is not seeing stage A as the same across the two processes. When a user from the new process sets an opportunity to stage A, a user with the original process will try to edit it and get an error message that the stage is blank.

Howdy, Stranger!
