X3-2 - RECO DISKGROUP USAGE AS A STANDARD STORAGE AREA.

 I have a X3-2 quarter-rack of EXADATA with 9.2Tb raw storage capacity. 
After installation procedures I can see that ASM reports 5 Tb for DATA Diskgroup and 1.2 Tb for RECO Diskgroup ( lsdg command output ) 

now I have more storage demands than 5Tb of DATA Diskgroup. 

Can I use RECO area ? What are the effects or risks when using RECO Area as a standard storage area ?

Please let me know if you have any Note ID about this situation.
