Disable Export Grid functionality based on Roles

Hi Folks,
Is it possible to disable the Export the Grid (to Excel, CSV, Doc) functionality based on User Roles?
I understand that we can disable that on design level. But that will be applicable for all users. We need it based on specific roles.
