Responsibility Menu Options

Hello,

We have a business need to remove specific menu options from specific Responsibilities temporarily. This need would apply to multiple responsibilities. For example we would like to remove the "on hand and availability" option from responsibilities during the annual physical inventory process. And then re-install the option back when the physical inventory is complete. We woould like to do this programmatically (via a concurrent program for example) versus manually. Has anyone addressed this scenario, if so how was it handled?
