Cost Roll-Up on a Phantom Item

 I am looking for the ability to perform a cost roll-up on a phantom item which will blow down through the BOM. I have found an explanation on the oracle support site but it looks as if their is a typo on it.  

3.  Can a cost roll-up for a phantom be performed on a phantom?

3.  Yes, make sure processing option #3 behind Cost Simulation - Bill of Material Implosion (P30820) is blank, allowing the program to blow through bill of materials.

Their is no P30820 application that I can call out in JDE, does anyone have any further information on how I could perform a cost roll-up for the phantom item.
