Essbase CRASHDUMP and EXCEPTION_LEVEL settings - confirming output location

 We have been asked by support to ensure that the following two settings have been applied to essbase.cfg
CRASHDUMP TRUE
EXCEPTION_LEVEL 2

I have applied these settings to our Dev environment and would like to simulate a crash so I can check the xcp and core files are being created as expected.
How can I simulate a crash of Essbase ESSBASE and/or ESSSVR processes ?
