Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Use of Allow Adjustment posting checkbox in Transaction types

Hi All,

What is the use of Allow Adjustment posting checkbox in Transaction type page?

I found it interesting. We have transactuion types with this option unchecked.

We were able to create adjustment activity for recoverable tax against these transaction type and were able to post.

But when we created adjsutemnt activitity for non recoverable tax, it was giving error.

I created a new TT with the option Allow Adjustment posting checked and created a non recoverable tax activity and it went fine.

Is there any relationship between this checkbox and the Receivable adjustment activity of type non recoverable ?
