I have gone through multiple Oracle document but did not found comparison between renter type refcuror and user defined table type. can any one please let me know about this as i can see we can not do much operations on refcursors like number of record count etc. while in user  defined table type we are. also looking for performance threads developed by both.

your valuable inputs well appreciated.
