Creating Customized "Help"

Every screen and form in CRM seems to have the Help link with links to the pages of documentation that are specific to that area.  However, if you are using a custom object and want to give your users specific "Help" on using the page the Help link isn't very useful.  For my custom object I have a specific Page Layout.  Can I adjust, update, modify, replace or through some other creative means provide a link to my users on using the custom object form?
