Hello,
I have Oracle 11g2.0.2 in solaris sparc 10.5
When starting the database : This is the warning
Adjusting the default value of parameter parallel_max_servers
from 1280 to 785 due to the value of parameter processes (800)
Starting ORACLE instance (normal)
WARNING: The system does not seem to be configured
optimally. Creating a segment of size 0x0000000200006000
failed. Please change the shm parameters so that
a segment can be created for this size. While this is
not a fatal issue, creating one segment may improve
performance
Can someone can give me more suggestion about this alert and what does it means.
Best regards,
