Disks from 2540 error 'Drive Type Unknown'

Hi there,

I have a SUN FIRE X4470 M2 server connected to a number of 2540 arrays.

I have a problem labelling the disk. We have scripts that do this and I am getitng error saying:

Could not read new VTOC of disk c5t8d4

When I run the format command I can see all the disks but for all disks I getting error 'Drive Type Unknown'.
