confuse on patch conflict resolution
hi guys,
doing some reading on patch conflict resolution.
Pardon me as i am quite confuse.
In some notes, it suggest that if there is any bug conflict or file conflict, we are told not to proceed with the psu (new) installation.
Firstly, there are suggestion from some notes i read here that i can use the opatch -force option to rollback the patch(s) that have conflict with the psu that is about to be installed.
1) does that means i can ignore the warning and just issue the opatch -force command and go ahead with the patch application?
I am not too sure oracle allows me to go on as i don't really have any experience in dealing with patch conflict resolution so far. I am just doing my own diligent prepartion if i happen to bum into any of this situation in future.
