Parallel SQL all sessions hang on 'latch free' event on 'Result Cache: RC Latch'

Hello all

We have a specific SQL that very often hangs on 'latch free' event. The latch in question is 'Result Cache: RC Latch'. The SQL is not using any result_cache hints and the database parameter result_cache_mode is set to manual. The database in question is 11.2.0.2 Patch bundle 24 on Windows x64. Only way out (that we know) is kill session.

I can't find any matching bugs on MOS.

What could be wrong? Any advice for next troubleshooting step?
