Negative Commitment

 Dear Team

We have problem in encumbrance carry forward. We got some negative commitment where PR created in 2012 and 2013 auto created PO and get paid in 2013.still we did not do the encumbrance carry forward 2012 to 2013.

When we are testing this scenario, we can see GL and encumbrance trial balance shows commitment balance but we did the encumbrance from carry forward for same amount it shows zero encumbrance carry forward.no commitment amount left for the carry forward.

What happen to that commitment amount?

How we will carry forward this encumbrance for null commitment?

We are using R12.1.3

Also, we want carry forward encumbrance only.
