Run the Catchup Depriciatin for selective 4 months

Dear,

I just upload the some new assets and my current asset and gl period is Jan-2013. we never run any depricication before in any month this is we are going to run the depriciation first time.

kindly let me know shall I run the Jan,FEB,Mar and april depriciation together if yes . then let me know how I can run what are step in detail, 

also let me know the system will create the GL entry in which month jan or april or by month.
