Hi All,

I am testing some thing and wanted to know other group member's suggestions.

The scenario is:

Business wants to hide or reserve some SMO manufactured instruments stock for particular BP/Customers , without any HOLD codes. In other words, Business wants the MRP system to generate build (WO) messages for the forecast qty of month , irrespective of available on-hand qty.

For example,

I have an OH of  4 qty  by 31May13 , which can satisfy the FC of requested date 31May13. I have another 4 qty of  Forecast / Demand by 15June13.....But R3483 will not generate any build WO messages  due to unshipped or available on-hand qty.  ( Planning code = '1' , Planning rule = 'C' ) . I don't want to HOLD the LOT , as I want it to be available for shipments.
