V2V Solaris 10 brand source release
Hi,
I've now migrated two solaris 10 u9 zones on solaris 11.1 servers (as branded zones).
It seems /etc/release is not modified by the install 'branding' process. So I still see 'sol10u9' (with Kernel version: SunOS 5.10 Generic_Virtual)
Would there be a difference if I had upgraded the Solaris10u9 to Solaris 10u11 before V2V migration?
IE: Would I gain something by upgrading sol10u9 ->sol10u11 ->Solaris 10 brand
Thanks
Michel
