Change OIC: Pay by Transaction profile option from No to Yes

Hi OIC Gurus

We are in the first Pay period of using OIC in Production. There is only one "Paid" payment batch in OIC after Go-live. Now, we need to change the OIC:Pay by Transaction profile option from No To Yes as Business is asking for order-level details to send to the external payroll system.
Can you please let me know if it is okay to change the Profile Option, OIC:Pay by Transaction   from No To Yes considering we are just in the first payperiod of using OIC , there is only one payment batch in Paid status and there are no transactions/payment batches in prior periods. Would this change work smoothly going forward,  without any issues ?.
