Processing large data volumes

Am interested to know successful solutions for processing large volumes of data on single projects.

Processing would  include

Distributing Labor and non Labor Costs

Create and Distribute Burdens

Generate Revenue

Generate Invoice

Revenue and Invoice will be via Extensions.  Costing Jobs can be run for separate projects, but in this case, we are anticipating very large volumes and an extensive WBS (manufacturing environment) on a single multi-year project.

Your suggestions/experience are greatly appreciated.
