Remove Shortcuts to Lead section

Hello.

My company is now deciding to do something different with tracking leads.  So as you can see from the attached screenshot, on the left hand side there is a shortcut to leads, as well as in the top drop down for search box.  Is there a way to remove Leads from this section?
