Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Explain Rman Script PW encryption

Platform : Windows 2008 Server, Oracle 11g EE

Will someone explain how I can encrypt the passwords in a batch file that runs rman backup scripts ?

My understanding is that the uid and pw is not necessary via rman target /.

If so, how does Oracle prevent anyone with access to the system from running these scripts ?
