Stopping mace running beyond 15 minutes

 Hi all,
once a month we had problem with export measure and probably Hierarchies circular expressions.
I found that if everithing is ok mace ran 9 - 12 minutes, otherwise and unpredictable time is required I had to manually kill unix process.

How is it possible to configure mace for killing itself after 15 minutes ?
Should I write an ad-hoc ksh shell to poll log file ?
