PeopleSoft 8.4 FSCM - Inventory Archiving Question. Need help/suggestions archiving the Inventory T

Inventory Module: We need to Archive the table Transaction_Inv. (Note we have tried to use the IN_PURGE process with no success and have put in Oracle service requests in past in order to get this to run; this is not an option)

Objective: Archive the Transaction_Inv table.

 

We would like to take the following approach and need your expert advice.

1) Delete rows in the Transaction_Inv table up to a certain date.

2) We would add a balance forward row (summarize by Item, BU, Area).

3) Our question is can we do this and can you recommend the population of fields for summary record we mentioned above. (Example: what should the Transaction_Group field be populated with? What fields need to be populated in order that this summary row does not get coasted?
