Correcting an HR hire date for rehire

Hello,

I am on 12.1.3. An employee was previously an intern and is being temporarily rehired in the system. My HR user accidentally hired the employee on the wrong date. This user then reversed the hire on the incorrect date and hired the employee on the correct date (which was the previous day). However, being one day prior, the user is now receiving the error that there are changes in the future and it will not allow her to save the changes.

We need the date to be corrected in order to account for the earned pay for the employee in Time and Labor. Please let me know if there are suggestions on how to get the employee data corrected.
