CONTINUE THE DISCUSSION: Third Party Service Providers and Supplier Contacts - Setup and Scheduling

In previous versions of the E-Business Suite apps it has been possible to model resources which are either employed directly by your organization, or are provided by a supplier (as in the case of contractors  - known in EBS as “Supplier Contacts”). 

When using the Scheduler it is possible to assign tasks to each of these “internal” resources, and the number of tasks assigned to each is limited based on the resource capacity, i.e. their capacity is finite.

In some circumstances it may be desirable to model resources as having infinite capacity, such as when there is no need to schedule which individual is performing a task, and when it will be done, but merely to record the allocation of the task.
