Upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.1.1

Hi,

I am palnning to upgrade my existing 11i ERP instance to R12 and all prereuisite patches I have applied and prepared database as well.

No I am starting process fir R12 software laydown and upgrade and I have a confusion here..

1. My existing APPL_TOP /u01/app/oracle/product/DEVESBS/appl  --- > 11.5.10.2

Whereas when I am choosing option for upgrade from rapidwiz it ask me for the base directory :

My base directory for 11i is /u01/app/oracle

2. I have space for new install on other mount point i.e /u05

If I choose /u05/app/oracle as base dirctory then rapidwiz is creating directory for APPL_TOP AS /u05/app/oracle/DEVEBS/apps/apps_st/appl
