Siebel Application sending duplicate email

Hi ,

We are facing one sporadic isuue in our siebel CRM application. When we send an email through our application, users receives that email twice. This issue happens intermittently. We checked and found only one activity getting created for that email which caused duplication.

• When Internet SMTP/POP3 Server driver log files is set to debug level, the following error was observed during duplication of email which can be seen under attached MAILDRIVER_FCC_1DD_40C_51A2B7B3_5734DFF.log.
MAILDRIVER[05/27/2013 02:41:30:150]:DBG:SMTP: Closing socket to server elsoxf-appsmtp.science.regn.net on port 25
MAILDRIVER[05/27/2013 02:41:30:151]:ERROR: Timeout reading data from socket
