Outbound Web Services using SAML authentication

Hi,

Is there a way to invoke an external webservice from Siebel that is SAML enabled? This is on FINS Siebel 8.1.1.7 . It will be difficult to upgrade to FMW to use SAI. is there any way to achieve this in 8.1.1.7 ? I can see some sample requests in the internet that it would be adding of additional tags in the SOAP Header. Is this all we need for outbound WebServices to work ?

Upgrading would cause testing of entire application modules which requires significant cost and time. We just have two small interfaces that should use SAML.
