Depreciation Reserve & YTD Depreciation Concept

Hi,

Can I check my understanding of Depreciation Reserve and YTD Depreciation concepts in Oracle with an example?

If I have an assets with Cost: 4800 acquired the 01/JAN/2012 with a life of 4 years, Depreciation Method: STL

At 01/FEB/2014 can I say that the following are the correct values for the Depreciation Reserve (Accumulated Depreciation) and YTD Depreciation?

- Depreciation Reserve ( Accumulated Depreciation) = 4800/48 * 25 = 2500

- YTD Depreciation (depreciation of year 2014) is equivalent to the depreciation for JANUARY 2014 period = 4800/48 = 100

Is this right?

Thanks for your help,
