Administrator not been able to convert lead

Hi All,
I have a scenario where there was an owner previously assigned to a lead record but due to change of that owner that lead has been assigned to a new owner. Now the issue is when the admin tries to convert that lead he is not been able to convert.The error which is showing is :The value in the lead pick list field Owner Alias does not exist in the target field Owner Alias.  Please contact your system administrator.(SBL-ODS-50581)

Do I need to add the admin in account team related to that lead.
