Hi,

we had a issue where all our databases were aborted due to unavailability of diskgroup. When I checked the db log files ckp was terminated.

As per the metalink id:744869.1 we didn't made any changes and all permissions of oradism are as expected as stated in id. It happened for the first time. Any idea what caused this issue.

When we asked unix admin to restart the server it went for filesystem check and restarted successfully.

DB - 10.2.0.5

ASM log:

Fri May 31 07:47:28 BST 2013
ERROR: too many offline disks in PST (grp 1)
Fri May 31 07:47:30 BST 2013
WARNING: Disk 1 in group 1 in mode: 0x7,state: 0x2 will be taken offline

Howdy, Stranger!
