Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. WIP return will increase the on hand qty in shopfloor

Hi,

I have recently notice the below incident in oracle WIP.

We can increase the Qty of a component by WIP return against the Job to Shopfloor sub inv. Why this so, is this standard behaviour? Can we stop this.

Shop floor - Non Reservable type sub inventory.

Job - XXX having component A with 10 qty in shop floor, now we can do WIP return against the Job XXX with component A with qty.

we are in 12.1.1
