RE : Sales stage no of dasys

Hi Experts:

Requirement : We would like to count the no of days/hrs for each opportunity sales stage  transformed from (Identification,Analysis,Proposal,Negotiation,Closed/Won,Closed/Lost,Retired)

How to achieve this? i hope this could be possible through Workflow , perhaps i am not much aware of that functionality .Could you please let me know the code also.
