Auto-creation of a requisition with an emergency PO, into a PO with a different PO number

Hi,

The user made a requisition with an emergency PO. After the approval of the requisition, the PO was not created automatically, as the buyer is inactive. Then the user tried to create the PO using the Autocreate form. But the PO created is having a PO number which is different from that of the emergency PO.

I was unable to reproduce this issue, i.e. when I tried to autocreate the PO, it was created with the same PO number as that of the emergency PO.

Could you please advise under which scenario/conditions this issue (i.e. PO autocreated having number different from theat of the emergency PO)  can be reproduced or could you please advise why does this issue occur?
