Competency Based Appraisal
We are planning to implement competency based performance appraisal in one of our group companies. Employee performance would be assessed based on set of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with different weightage for each job and targets for each KPI varies from employee to employee in the same job. In addition to these, there are behavorial competencies which do not carry any weightage but need to be tracked by HR. My question is should these KPIs to be defined as individual job competencies (or) to be defined as different options under a single job competency. Has anyone ever done with similar
