Order Import Diagnostics for EDI Imports

Thus far I have been unable to find any Diagnostics that will give me more information as to why an EDI 850 is failing in Import Corrections.  In 11i there was a SQL Plus program called ONTOrdImport115.sql that provided the feedback required on specific messages.  The only messages I see are "Both value and ID columns have been supplied for this attribute (Attribute:sold_to_org). ID column for this attribute will be used while processing this order. "  and "Values have not been entered for one or more required segments." . I am suspect that the first error is a false error as I've seen it many times.  But how would one diagnose which required segment(s) are missing without a good diagnostic tool, since error messages in corrections are very vague and misleading sometimes.
