Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

I am checking the Impairment functionality and one setup required is the Cash Generating Units Meaning.

What does this term mean from a conceptual point of view? I understand the setup proposed by the Whitepaper but not what does it mean the term.
