R12 Patch Inquiry

 We are in the process of upgrading from 11i to R12.1.x and I need to determine what patches have been applied to this new R12 instance.  We are not using Patch Wizard as there seems to be many bugs or issues with this according to our DBA.  I am also under the impression that no pre-req checker is being used when patches are being applied to this instance.  I know there are more than likely patches that have been missed.   Also according to our DBA the simple search within Oracle Apps does not show all that have been applied
